Governor Bill Lee
*We’ve been in regular contact with Governor Lee’s office and they hope to be able to confirm his attendance as our speaker once we are through the current crisis.*
Bill Lee is a seventh-generation Tennessean and the 50th Governor of Tennessee. He was raised in Franklin, where he still resides today with his wife, Maria, on his family’s farm. He’s the proud father of four adult children (Jessica, twin sons Jacob and Caleb, and Sarah Kate) and seven grandchildren.
After attending Williamson County Schools, Governor Lee attended Auburn University, where he studied Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, he returned home to Franklin to join the family business his grandfather started in 1944, a comprehensive mechanical construction service company. He became president of Lee Company in 1992.
Now, Governor Lee is focused on several priorities, including good jobs, great schools, and safe neighborhoods so we can keep Tennessee moving in the right direction.
This year, Governor Lee passed a series of legislative initiatives to strengthen career and technical training, expand school choice, pursue criminal justice reform, improve public safety, and sharpen the effectiveness of government. His administration is also focused on the accelerated transformation of rural Tennessee.
The governor and first lady are people of strong faith. They are active in Grace Chapel Church and in numerous faith-based ministries, which have taken them all over the world to serve people in need, including to Africa, Haiti, Central America, and the Middle East.

The Chattanooga Area Leadership Prayer Breakfast (CALPB) is organized solely by volunteers, and all expenses incurred are for the main speaker, the vendors, and the suppliers for the Breakfast. Each year there is a shortfall between monies raised through ticket sales and the actual expenses of the event - and that shortfall is covered by charitable contributions. The CALPB is covered by the 501(c)(3), non-profit status of the Chattanooga Christian Community Foundation, which does business as The Generosity Trust (TGT). Donations given for the CALPB are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Checks should be made payable to The Generosity Trust, with "Prayer Breakfast" on the memo line, and mailed to The Generosity Trust, 345 Frazier Avenue, Unit 205, Chattanooga, TN 37405. TGT will provide the donor with a receipt that can be used for income tax purposes. If you wish to make a credit card gift or another type of online gift, please click the "donate" button below, and you will be directed to the TGT credit card processing site (EasyTithe). You will be asked some basic information, and then you can safely and securely make an online gift for the benefit of the Prayer Breakfast. If you have any questions for The Generosity Trust, please contact them at 423-266-5257.
